Qingfeng Homestay (Zhangjiajie West Railway Station)

Great little hotel 10 minutes walk from Zhangjiajie West Train Station. When I left for my train around 5am the next morning I met a fellow traveller who also stayed in the hotel and was also heading to the train station. I arrived early and the hotel let me check-in and store my bags in my room. The instructions to find the hotel were very easy. Easy check-in and check-out. I suggest contacting the hotel 1 day before you arrive to arrange luggage storage (if needed) and check-in. The con would be that the front door was open when I arrived in the morning and came back in the evening - it would be safer to keep it locked (the bedrooms are locked and the front door was locked overnight). Also I smelt some cigarettes/smoking from another room enter my room, and also the smell of the toilet/sewage. It must’ve come from another room and the smell only came when I heard other people come back

The house was just 5-8 mins walk from ZJJXi Railway. It is very easy to locate with the directions given from the host. Checking in was seamless too. Took the room with the bathroom, everything was good except that the hot water takes some time to heat up, and the toilet bowl has a smell once in a while. Everything else was good. You can wash your clothes with the washing machine in the living room. Water, kitchen is available too. Host replies promptly!

I’ve been here for 4 days to visit zhnagjiajie’s main attraction like forest park and tianment mountain. The location is perfect, near the station and 30 min to the park. The owner is really helpfull and you have all the comodities.
