Zhangjiajie Qishi Li Cave Homestay (National Forest Park Flagship Store)

i gave 4/5 for amenities only because wifi was not consistent for me to watch movie on my laptop otherwise , everything is exceptional, special thanks to staff - 慢慢 who assisted me on everything, quick response via wechat (with translation)  free self laundry is a plus

Our stay at this hotel was exceptional! The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond for us — truly available 24/7 and always ready to help with a smile. Their service felt personal and genuine. The food was delicious, and they offer great Western options for guests who prefer non-Asian cuisine. Honestly, the experience was perfect. My rating is 1000/10.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff that treated us extremely well the entire time. The room was immaculate and had a great view of the mountains. The location and proximity to Zhangjiajie's entrance was very convenient. A five star hotel in every way, and I would recommend this to anyone.

Incredible hotel. Sunny our concierge was amazing and saved us several times with planning for the national park, she gave us an excellent itinerary. Room was spotless, unique and fun. Would definitely stay again.

I would highly reccomend this hotel to stay. Before I go into the details, I want to specially recognise and thank Sonny, who was the lobby manager. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Upon arrival she went through our itinerary with us and recommendations of routes through the National Park, and in the morning revised our route to ensure it was fresh in our minds before setting off. She also ensured all meals we got were vegetarian friendly (as there were a language barrier with other staff). She even organised a transfer to our second hotel (cost free). She was so friendly, available whenever we needed her (also available on wechat communication), and nothing was too much! She is a massive asset to the hotel and from all hotels in China we have been she has made our stay at Qish Li most memorable. They also organised a lovely Birthday cake and decoration in the room for my husband birthday, which was appreciated! In terms of the hotel: - Location: The hotel is with in 10 minute walk of the East park entrance. Very close! It is also very close to the main street (3-5 min where there is a theatre, food, foot bath spas etc...and a luckin coffee shop!) - The Garden suite is spacious, bed was comfortable, they had japanese toilets (which are brilliant) and water pressure is great. Very clean and everything looks very new. - The room amentities are very good and cover everything you need, including these small brushes which are very gentle on hair (and packet mouthwashes), which were lovely touches. - The breakfast was decent. They had limited options as a whole but filling enough to get your morning fuel (some cereal, bakery item, egg, hasbrown, salad, break/toast with spreads - then meats/broth noodles for non veg eaters). - There is a cave bar which has a walk through the cave and you can see some bats at the end. As it was quite rainy/cold the bar area didnt appear in use which was fine for us. - There is an outdoor pool, again as weather was rainy, it was not really in use. Very glad we booked here to stay, and would recommend to anyone. Note: There is no gym (if this is something you are looking for)
