I can't praise this place enough! First off, the owner's hand-drawn travel guide was a huge hit. So many people stopped to take pictures of it while I was out and about, and I looked at it so many times myself that it literally fell apart. The owner also explained everything, and going against the current was just fantastic. Secondly, the car pick-up and drop-off service was amazing – we didn't have to walk an inch more than necessary. Then, the food and prices were just right. Most importantly, because we booked late, we only managed to get one night here out of our planned two-day trip. The second day, we went to another place that was about a fifteen-minute drive away. The owner here actually drove us there, and then, early the next morning, picked us up and dropped us off at the main entrance for our activities. Note: We had already checked out and weren't staying at their place anymore! Seriously, the service here is beyond amazing. Even after we checked out, they were still incredibly helpful. In contrast, the other place we stayed seemed to expect guests to do everything themselves. The difference was night and day – I was truly impressed. And the prices are really, really affordable. I recommend this to the whole world! The owner truly deserves to make a fortune!

I absolutely love this guesthouse; I ended up extending my stay by two extra days. My favorite part is the small stream right next to it – the water is so clear and refreshingly cool. The guesthouse itself is spacious and new, really standing out among the others nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the auntie who runs the place is incredibly warm and friendly. Her cooking is delicious too! We arrived at Zhangjiajie West Station, and the owner arranged for a car to pick us up directly and take us to the guesthouse. They also helped us plan our itinerary, which was super practical. We hardly had to queue for anything and didn't take any detours, it was even better than the plan I'd made online. This made me realize that I used to think you could only see the most scenery by entering through the Wulingyuan scenic area's main entrance. Now I know that the views from both the Wulingyuan main entrance and the Yangjiajie ticket station are actually the same, just in a different order.

When I was looking for a guide on the Internet, I decided to live in Ximen and found this proud small courtyard on Trip.com . The room was renovated in 2025. The room was clean and the decoration was very new. I sent disposable shampoo, shower gel and towels, toothbrushes. There is no difference from the pictures on the Internet. Downstairs is the living room, dining room and room. The main room is on the 2nd floor and there is a balcony where you can eat. There is also a stream next to it, where children can play in the water, and you can see the unique karst terrain of Zhangjiajie from a distance. Boss Xiao Wu was gentle and enthusiastic. He picked us up at the West Gate to the homestay, helped us book tickets, planned routes, had a road map, and answered all questions. The boss's mother cooks delicious food and can be made according to the different tastes of the guests. The breakfast is relatively light, with noodles and rice noodles. Congee, steamed buns and roast wheat. Our breakfast and dinner were eaten at their home, and seasonal fruit peaches and plums were also delivered. The boss's father sent us to Yangjiajie cableway station every morning, and picked us up back to the hotel in the evening. It took 2 minutes from their home to the cableway station. The feeling in the scenic area is really cool! Originally set for one night on August 1, and then continued for two nights. It was very comfortable to live here. I thought the temperature in Zhangjiajie was so high and it would be very hot. I didn't expect the hotel to be so cool in the morning and evening. The only fly in the ointment is that it is close to the road and there will be a little noise of vehicles passing by. And the rooster in the mountain barked very early, and it started crowing at 5 o'clock, probably because I slept lightly. Husband and children slept well. I was tired from climbing the mountain during the day, but I slept very well at night. The summer in the mountains is indeed cooler than the plains. Living very comfortable these days! Have a chance to come again.

I had a wonderful stay! The location is very convenient—just a few minutes away from the west entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even offering to drive us to the park entrance and picking us up in the evening without us even asking. He also gave us great tips for exploring the park. The area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Sitting on the terrace in the morning surrounded by nature was such a beautiful experience. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tranquility, warm hospitality, and easy access to the park!
