Pros: Location is not that bad, walking distance to train station and tour bus area. Free coffee and tea and lobby. Need room key to tap in the lift to go to your level. Room is rather spacious. Cons: rooms are rather stuffy, we had to borrow fan. TV is spoilt. Meh: free luggage storage but no security. They just give you the pass to store your luggage in their luggage room yourself. Collection also the same (anyone can take your luggage). There is a mirror above our head, abit weird.

The hotel is a little away from the center (15~20 min by tram), plus 4min walk to the station. The check-in was quick, although in proper Swiss fashion the check-in time is only at 3pm. Fortunately, we were allowed to move in earlier. The room is big enough, but if you have big suitcases it'll be a bit tight. The staff is courteous and helpful, and try to accommodate if they can. The breakfast selection isn't too wide, but it's well arranged and has most of what you'd expect. There's a proper gym (exceedingly rare) with enough equipment to satisfy all but the pros. However, it does get a bit busy at times. They also have a decent swimming pool. There's a workstation with a printer next to the reception that guests can use for free - perfect if you need to print out tickets. They were happy to hold our baggage after we moved out until our flight in the evening - much appreciated. We paid about 125CHF a night for a standard room for two including breakfast, which is a good deal in Zurich. All things considered, there's very little to complain about. We had an excellent stay, and would love to stay there again.

Super quaint hotel close to everything you wanna see. There are tons of shops within walking distance, and the trams are just a few steps from the hotel. It’s was clean, quiet, and comfy. The staff are super friendly, and the hotel offers free water and soda. For the location, the price is great.

공항에서 메인역까지 가는 도중 호텔이 보여 기차소리로 시끄러울 것 같았지만 소음은 전혀없었고 디포짓도 체크아웃하자마자 바로 들어왔습니다. 다음에 취리히 온다면 또 지낼 것 같아요. 다시 만납시다. 체크인 전 짐보관도 오랫동안 해주고 체크아웃 후에도 가능하다고 합니다.

An interestingly situated hotel in lovely parklands. This place has an old section and a new one. we stayed in the new area. The room had no air con. It had an extra bed which we didn't ask for . This made the room crowded. The architecture in the new section is crazy. From outside the room the corridors look like a prison. It takes 2 lifts to get bags to the room. The reception has no ”soul” or atmosphere. We arrived at night, and it is lit in red. the restaurant was ok without being exceptional. Breakfast was quite good but not much of an offering for a gluten free person. No local restaurants worth going to. Think I would prefer to try something else next time.

Great hotel!! Get a room on the top floor with the balcony. It’s a little bit off the beaten path, but about a 20 minute walk into town. Breakfast is good. Shower was great! Helpful front desk. Coffee maker and hair dryer in the room. Not a ton of restaurant options nearby though. We stayed for 4 nights. March, 2024.

交通還可以，中央火車站出來電車4號線Altstetten Bahnhof Nord 方向座8站，下來馬路對面瑞士電信大樓Swisscom 後面就是了。 設施，服務都很符合 Renaissance 這個品牌，早餐團隊服務效率高，規範。

Really loved this place, the only problem as with all hotels across the European continent is that room rates are variable and can double or triple from one day to the next without any logic, which forced us to change hotels from time to time which is not easy when carrying large luggage. The hotel staff are friendly locals and very kind and helpful and there is a gym small but fully equipped and likewise a kitchen open 24/7 and for breakfast. For those driving, there is a small carpark at the front of the hotel with a small daily charge. Very close to a nice Sushi restaurant nearby which is popular with guests and locals alike. Only 100 meters or so from Kuntshaus(National Art Gallery) and the Theatre, Trams 9 and 5 take you to the University and beyond. Changing at ETH University stop allows you to catch the No 10 Tram directly into Zurich Airport which takes around 30mins.

My family of 10 (we had 5 rooms) visited hotel Storchen in June 2023. Proper to the visit, I emailed with the concierge several times and am blown away by the service provided. The concierge helped me plan all of my activities and was able to reserve transportation for us months prior to our arrival. We took the train from Paris to Zurich and walked to the hotel from the train station (easy walk). Check-in was super efficient and simple. We received some drink coupons so we headed to the rooftop bar for cocktails and lunch. Everything was amazing. The food was delicious, the drinks were cold, and the service was friendly and quick. Breakfast was included as I booked through amex. I LOVED their breakfast. They had a continental buffet (including self-serve mimosas) and a menu to order hot items from. Everything was delicious and it was a great start to our day every day. I would definitely stay here again!
