Lovely hotel, what really makes it is the staff. Comfort of Sleep: Good, soft, nice pillows and heavy duvet. Temperature: It is hard to make the room cool without keeping the door open. Breakfast: Quite a limited selection compared to other hotels. If breakfast is not included, I would not pay for it and go to Starbucks or CO-OP within 1 minutes walk. The staff are really the thing that makes it though, we even were given chocolate on arrival and a small bottle of Prosecco for New Year's Eve with a handwritten card to welcome us and help us plan our NYE.

Everything is very good. Close to the Zurich Main Station, clean and neat room and bathroom, with ”help yourself” coffee in the corridor. The air-con was well functioning that I had good sleep staying here. The only thing was the pillow quite soft but still acceptable.

入住時發生了驚魂一幕——由於航班晚點，夜裡將近12點才到的酒店，一個男性前台工作人員給了308、309兩間房。我和朋友兩家人分別刷卡進房時，發現2間客房裡都已有客人，都是中國客人而且已入睡，彼此都大驚失色、尷尬不已。回到前台，工作人員也十分尷尬，一個勁道歉，又不知將電話打給了誰，一通漫長的德語電話後，重新給了兩間房，其中一間升級成了132景觀套房。房間很大很漂亮，唯一的美中不足是，房間太大，上廁所有點有點繞。另外兩個洗臉枱的下水都有點堵，擰開左邊的水龍頭下水塞子，發現裏面卡了一個硬硬的東西，看起來很臟，應該是堵了很久了。不知為啥一直沒人反映和修復，我把塞子拿開了，希望酒店能夠發現並清理。其它都挺好，酒店很先進，所有控制開關都是觸摸屏，也有空調，但是沒能啟用，不過還好不是太熱。必須稱讚早餐很豐富，十分不錯，也很乾凈衞生。總體上來説是個值得推薦的酒店！

Hotel yang sangat bagus, semua kemudahannya hebat dengan dapur terbuka yang bagus. Pasar raya besar berdekatan supaya senang untuk memasak sendiri. Hanya beberapa minit berjalan kaki dari stesen kereta api. Mungkin mesti tinggal lagi jika saya boleh datang Zürich lagi!!!

프런트가 친절했으며 짐 보관이 되었다는 리뷰가 많은데 셀프 체크인이였고 따라서 짐 보관도 불가했다 트립닷컴의 설명 어디에서도 그걸 찾기 힘들었다. 예상과 다른 점… 국가번호까지 해서 핸드폰 번호를 잘 적었음에도 셀프 체크인에 필요한 메시지는 오지 않았고 마침 중앙 출입구 문이 수리 중이였기에 들어가서 전화를 걸고 안내를 받을 수 있었지 아니였으면 문밖에서 별 방도 없이 나오거나 들어가는 사람을 기다렸다가 내선전화를 했을 수도 있을 거 같다. 여기 트릿닷컴에 적은정보가 호텔 체크인이랑 잘 연동이 되지 않는 거 같다. 이메일도 전화번호도 멋대로 써 있었다. 심지어 나는 중국인도 아닌데 중국 번호가 내 번호로 되어 있었음. 짐보관도 안 됐는데 체크인 시간에 가니 아직도 청소가 안 되어서 못 들어간다고 했다. 체크인 가능시간 1시간 30분 전도 후에나 들어간 거 같다. 4:30 넘어서? 그러나 죄송하다거나 하는 사과는 없었고 그냥 5분 기다려라 10분 기다려라 그게 다였다. 시간 지나서 왔는데 더 기다리라니 당황… 당황 포인트 -셀프체크인: 문자라도 잘 와서 온라인 키가 폰에 있었으면 그나마 다행… 난 문자도 못 받음 -체크인시간: 한참 지나서 도착했는데도 더 기다리라고;;; 좋은 점 -역과 가까움 - 언덕에있지만 트램과 가까움 -어쨋든 깨끗함 -조용한 편 -에어컨 잘 됨 -욕실 넓음

Room was clean and surroundings have plenty of food and shops. Supermarket is also a stone’s throw away. We got a nice view of the river. Only thing was we had to wait an hour before we could check in as the room wasn’t ready, but the staff compensated us with late check out the next day. No complaints other than that!

The hotel is a little away from the center (15~20 min by tram), plus 4min walk to the station. The check-in was quick, although in proper Swiss fashion the check-in time is only at 3pm. Fortunately, we were allowed to move in earlier. The room is big enough, but if you have big suitcases it'll be a bit tight. The staff is courteous and helpful, and try to accommodate if they can. The breakfast selection isn't too wide, but it's well arranged and has most of what you'd expect. There's a proper gym (exceedingly rare) with enough equipment to satisfy all but the pros. However, it does get a bit busy at times. They also have a decent swimming pool. There's a workstation with a printer next to the reception that guests can use for free - perfect if you need to print out tickets. They were happy to hold our baggage after we moved out until our flight in the evening - much appreciated. We paid about 125CHF a night for a standard room for two including breakfast, which is a good deal in Zurich. All things considered, there's very little to complain about. FFanIt would be better if indoor doors and windows were easier to open, allowing for improved air circulation. The shower has very high water pressure, and the sink area is quite small. If two large people share the double bed, it can be very cramped. The apartment is located together with IBS, and you can navigate directly to IBS. I only stayed for one night, but around 7 AM, construction work started nearby, which was very annoying.

PPengguna TetamuNuma | Turi was a perfect stay for me - the apartment was very clean, and the facilities in room are new and well kept. Amenities in the apartment are great - the free luggage storage was a gamechanger as it allowed me to explore Zurich without having to drag my bag around. Location is great - bus to Zurich HB is frequent (takes about 5 min and comes every ~5 min), with that, it is also very much possible to walk to Zurich HB. There are some things to note: - the area has a lively night life, so may get quite noisy - washing machine & dryer are available in building but not free however, can be paid online. They are CHF 5 & CHF 4 accordingly

PPengguna TetamuSuper Standort und nahe vom Bahnhof Oerlikon. Das Appartment ist geräumig und mit einer Küche ausgestattet. Weiter hat das Appartment sogar einen kleinen Balkon. Perfekt um vor einem Flug dort zu übernachten oder ein zwei tage Zürich zu besichtigen.

MMoAngusI was plagued with trepidation before staying at the Swiss Star California. I had read some negative comments on Google Maps and trip.com, and the dread of what might go wrong loomed heavy over me. However, as fate would have it, my fears were unwarranted - the hotel, or rather, the service apartment, turned out to be a pleasant surprise and surpassed my expectations. The room was clean, well-equipped, and not too shabby. The heater functioned perfectly, which was a relief since it was a frosty February in Zurich. They had everything one would expect from a basic hotel room. But here's a word of caution: after booking your stay, make sure to check your email. You will receive a message from the hotel, not just a confirmation, containing the passcode and room number. Without this information, you might find yourself stranded outside the door, with no one to receive your calls or help with check-in. Trust me; I know how it feels to be left out in the cold, frantically seeking assistance from Trip.com. Furthermore, if you have a lot of luggage, you may want to pray for a room on the ground or first floor. Unfortunately, there is no lift in the building. However, let's not forget that this is one of the most affordable places to stay in Zurich. With that in mind, who could realistically expect luxury amenities and top-notch service? All in all, Swiss Star California proved to be a pleasant surprise and an excellent value for the price.

RRodneyWe booked this room because it was low price for a night near the railway station in Zurich. It served its purpose, but lefta lot to be desired. The room itself was so small, it was impossible to outlay contemporary suitcases packed on both sides of the case. No glass for water for or a drink of any kind. The room was in bad repair. A large mirror was falling from its frame behind the door and the bathroom door (made from a chipboard) had been wet and was swelled, warped and smelly. Lobby alcove dingy and felt insecure The bed was good, towels and linen fine. It served its purpose, but I couldn't recommend The self service worked, but not a fan of no one on site. Won't rebook this again.

ZzaborszkybI didn’t want to give 1 star but it was really disappointing. Oka, Trip.com didn’t mention that there is AC, so it’s fair that the room didn’t have it but not even a fan and it was extremely hot! There is no trash bin in the room so we had to use our own plastic bags to collect waste. There is no wifi (even though they promised there would be info in the room about it, there wasn’t). The shower has no curtain or wall so water splashed everywhere when taking shower. Nonetheless, it was fine for just sleeping but even with the quite low price considering it’s Zürich, it was not a pleasant experience. Maybe I’m too picky, hence the neutral rating.
