My stay was positive overall, offering good value for money. The staff provided excellent service and the room was clean and comfortable. Note for male guests: the shared bathroom facilities are located on the 7th and 8th floors. The location is decent, although the walk to Taichung Railway Station MRT is a little far. Would recommend for budget-conscious travelers.

Easy to check in and check out, well placed in Hualien (close to the train station, not so far from the beach and some yummy restaurants around) ... Those things are already nice. But the architecture of this hostel is also pretty neat! The rooms are rather beautiful imo and I was surprised to see the bathroom in the room, it made me happy (compared to public one in some other places, I prefer to have the bathroom in the room, only shared with the girls). I liked that. The sink out of the bathroom but still in the room is also very well placed so you can wash your face or hands even if someone is in the bathroom. Breakfast is rather simple but enough to start the day. Highly recommended ! 😊

The front desk staff were very accommodating on my request for late check out. Daily breakfast and dinner were quite good.

Very decent breakfast and good location.  Staff is very friendly.  I wish we could check in earlier if they have the rooms ready.  But they also offer a resting lobby for us to rest as we arrived early in the morning after a long flight from Canada.  Location is very convenient with lots of shops around.  We would recommend it to anyone, who stay in Chaiyi.

The location is great. The rooms are rather too small, at first I was placed in one that didn't have a window but I asked to be moved to one that had a window, luckily my request was met. Not recommended for an extended stay. Also, the staff at reception aren't friendly with internationals/black foreigners from my experience though they speak English. Only one guy tries to be engaging when you ask for help but the others frown and express irritation. The toilets and showers are clean but the kitchen surfaces are sometimes not kept clean.

Decent ok hotel, proximity to tai Chung railway station less than 8 mins walk if you go by the correct route and not follow blindly on the google map, breakfast can be missed as really need improvement but good to have as not many eateries nearby, good thing is there is a gang cheng station outside and opposite the hotel which can bring you to two famous night markets - Feng chia and Yi Zhong (better), take bus 25, 33, 35, but expect long distance ride, hotel room wall is too thin so be prepared to be disturbed at all times especially at night, WiFi can be weak at times, one last complain is the no throwing of toilet paper into the toilet bowl as too inconvenient for ladies but at this price of a well renovated hotel room, this is still acceptable

As my final base in Taiwan following my Mt. Jade expedition, this motel was an absolute dream. It was a pleasure to find that the property completely matched the online pictures. The breakfast was outstanding and served in a pleasant setting. Crucially, the bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a much-needed deep slumber after my two-day hike. The top-notch bathroom was incredibly spacious, making my long, restorative shower a true luxury. This was a definite 5-star experience.

A cosy hotel conveniently located near Hualien station. The beds are comfy and check in was efficient. The staff also let me keep my bike inside overnight, which was very considerate.
