Great value for money and a fantastic location, right next to the Hilton. The room was spacious and new, with excellent natural light. Downstairs, there are plenty of local eateries. They also offer airport transfer services. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Kunming, or recommend it to friends. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel itself. The photo is of the clay pot rice noodles from downstairs – they were delicious, especially hitting the spot late at night!

I was in for a surprise when I realized this hotel was located in the mountain. There is a pick-up/drop-off point at the top of the hill. It takes about 3-5 minutes walk down to the hotel. The hotel manager helped us with the luggage during check-in/out. To get to the ancient town, it’s about 10 minutes walk down. Along the way you will pass by other beautiful sceneries before arriving at a side street of the bar street in the ancient town. The rooms are a bit run down due to humidity, but it’s very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a Very serene vibe. Very relaxing. I’m happy we stayed at this hotel, and would recommend fellow travelers (who don’t mind to hike a little) to stay here too!

The hotel room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly and proactive. The hotel's breakfast was exquisite and delicious, with fresh ingredients. It's very convenient for shopping and getting around. A very good choice, highly recommended. However, the toilet light in the bathroom is not linked to the main room switch and cannot be turned off. This affected my sleep, and I had to cover the light on the toilet buttons with a towel to fall asleep. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and rectifies it.

Xishuangbanna Gasa Airport private pick-up service (requires 24-hour advance booking): The hotel offers this incredibly thoughtful pick-up service. Just contact the hotel's customer service a day in advance, and they'll arrange a driver for you. Facilities: Smart home features are very convenient, controlled by 'Xiao Du' (a smart assistant). Hygiene: The room is cleaned daily by the staff, and it's quite clean and tidy. Environment: Quiet and clean. Service: The customer service staff are very patient and helped with the check-in process. Location: It's very close to Gaozhuang West and the Starlight Night Market, both within easy walking distance. The hotel also provides a self-service breakfast. The small pot rice noodles are super delicious 😋. I stayed for four nights straight and had the rice noodles for four days – absolutely fantastic!

This guesthouse is incredibly warm and inviting, I highly recommend it! The handsome and beautiful concierges at the hotel were all incredibly dedicated. They introduced us to the local ancient towns and gave us tips on what to see and do. On top of that, they even upgraded our room so we could enjoy the beautiful 'Rizhao Jinshan' (golden mountain bathed in sunlight) right from our window! If you have pets, you absolutely must come to this guesthouse. Their little darlings are so welcoming and friendly! Their afternoon tea, butter tea experience, and breakfast were all fantastic! 👍🏼

Having a good memories here! I am from Malaysia. Room spacious, owner and staff was helpful and kind. This hotel should be good to stay for a weekend n all day. There is a cat mingle around which is i love and feels like home.  Its recommended to everyone who seekong a good hotel to stay, and so peaceful. I love it !!!!!

This hotel is located right near the South Gate of the Old City, offering a great environment that's clean and comfortable. You can see Cangshan Mountain just by looking up, making it super convenient if you're planning to visit Cangshan. Plus, the South Gate snack street is only about a 3-minute walk away for dining! The owner is really enthusiastic and provides excellent service. There's also an adorable little cat at the hotel! This hotel offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service & Charming Villa Our experience at Songzhuju was outstanding. Here’s why: · Superb Hospitality: The staff are the heart of this place. Ms. Tang was very welcoming from the start, and Afei provided service that went far beyond our expectations. He patiently answered all our questions before our trip and took care of every request we had. Truly exceptional! Upon arriving at Lijiang Train Station, he helped arrange a pick-up transfer to the hotel (which can be a wee bit challenging to navigate at first). He then served us with pu’er tea which explaining about the room upon check-in. · Charming & Authentic: A beautiful, quaint villa right at the North Gates of the ancient city. It perfectly captures the traditional Lijiang atmosphere. · Great Amenities: For a traditional stay, it has all the modern comforts you need. We were so grateful to have a washing machine and dryer downstairs– a huge plus! We felt genuinely cared for! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at this hotel in Xishuangbanna for four nights. Our group of four families booked five rooms, and everyone was very satisfied. From the initial airport pick-up to our departure, the hotel's service was excellent. Every afternoon, they even offered complimentary white fungus soup and mung bean soup. My only regret is that the weather wasn't warm enough for the kids to enjoy the swimming pool! Everything else was wonderful. The weather in Xishuangbanna was also quite nice, making for a pleasant experience overall these past few days. It's truly an exotic city! However, the shuttle buses at each attraction were quite expensive! Some of the sights really weren't worth it!
