Hotel Dengan WiFi di Amman, Jordan

I stayed at the Ibis as part of an Exoticca tour. I had 3 nights at the start of my trip, and 1 at the end. All on a half board basis. The first room I had was nice, admittedly a little tired, but clean and comfortable. The room I had last was not as nice, the basin smelled really bad and the shower leaked. Breakfast was good, very strong coffee, nice juice, an omelette station alongside typical continental options, as well as hot food. Dinner was ok, lovely salads and bread each day. There is a bar which sells alcohol (albeit expensive), and a gift shop. It is opposite a mall and supermarket, and there are restaurants nearby. The staff were lovely.

Everything was brilliant and beyond exceptional. Breakfast, the location, the cleanliness. Lara at the restaurant in specific was very welcoming, greeting us with a smile 😃 The check in was smooth, the staff there is warm and friendly. I would highly recommend it.

We stayed at Hilton Amman for 2nights and throughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived post midnight on our first night and were thankful that the check in process was smooth and efficient! Our room was huge and had everything needed to relax and have a pleasant stay. We ordered room service on our first night and were impressed with the quality and flavour. Similarly, breakfast was very good with a huge spread and attentive staff. Hotel is conveniently located to visit Jerash and main Amman sites all in one day. Valet service was very convenient, we advise leaving your car there if driving as taxis in Amman were cheap and certainly a more relaxing way to get around! Would happily recommend this hotel.

Ritz Carlton Amman is a great hotel with very few flaws. The hotel reached out ahead of time via e-mail to ask about guest preferences, special occasion, etc. so they put themselves in position to deliver good service from the very beginning and they prepared the room to our liking. As Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, I was upgraded to a suite which was good quality and had the expected tech features for such new modern hotel. The only mild negatives were that the living room was not completely separated from the bedroom so while it looked like a regular suite and was spacious like a regular suite, however it had a bit of a feeling of a junior suite. Also for a city hotel of that caliber I always prefer 1.5 bath not only 1. I think this hotel has excellent service to begin with, and if having club access then it’s even better with a high degree of personal attention. Staff told us that they recently had a number of cancellations due to the war in Gaza so hotel occupancy was less than normal which might have played a role but the club was peaceful and never crowded at any time during our stay. It was useful to have a club which is open 24/7 rather than only during day time hours especially since I could not use my laptop in the living room early morning without disturbing my sleeping daughter so I could use the lounge instead. The F&B in the lounge was great – for both lunch and dinner they had different dishes to please all guests, usually one beef dish, one chicken, one fish, one pasta, plus some salads and desserts. On days where the weather was bad we were obviously spending more time than usual in the hotel and the club was great value in the end. Guests could drink champagne 24 hours per day in this lounge if they would like, and staff could prepare cocktails as well in addition to the pre-mixed ones available in the bar. When I rate hotels, I always do so considering the local competitive landscape such that in destinations with mostly poor hotels or without chain hotels at all, I am quite lenient when judging a hotel. Amman is the complete opposite – it’s a city with very high quality hotels. I stayed at W in the past and it was wonderful, and I also stayed at Fairmont across the street from Ritz Carlton which is probably a better comparison point. That Fairmont is one of the best Fairmonts I have ever stayed anywhere in the world, and can compete neck to neck with RC. So yes RC is great, but local standards are very high so I would not say that it’s crushing other local alternatives.

The Kaya hotel is centrally located near the blue mosque. We got a warm welcome and an upgrade to a suite with cityview - the strongest point of this hotel is definitely tne friendliness of its staff, from the valet & reception desk team, the food & beverage manager to the facility team with Mohamed unes & Ibrahim, the all go the extra mile for their guests - an adress to stay when in Amman - one tip: if you get offered a welcome coffee you have to twist your cup or they will keep refilling

The rooms are a decent size and the hotel is in a good location, right opposite the Roman forum. They do a decent breakfast, there is a nice rooftop cafe with excellent views. The price is also good. However, the rooms are a bit battered. There was no shower curtain, the water pressure was low with water either scolding hot or freezing. The rooms are dirty, you feel you come out of the shower dirtier than when you went in. I'm not convinced the floor had been hoovered from the people before. There was a TV but no remote or way to operate it. We had to ask for towels and they don't clean the rooms during your stay, but will give you more toilet roll and clean towels if you ask at reception. There is ridiculously loud music coming from the rooftop terrace early in the evenings. There are worse places to stay in Amman, but if I was going again I would pay more and get something decent.

Valet service was very convenient, we advise leaving your car there if driving as taxis in Amman were cheap and certainly a more relaxing way to get around! Would happily recommend this hotel.

The rooms are a decent size and the hotel is in a good location, right opposite the Roman forum. They do a decent breakfast, there is a nice rooftop cafe with excellent views. The price is also good.
