#chinatrip A really big palace with a really wide collection although it has been robbed many times. The Forbidden Palace is said to have 9999.5 rooms. The point five comes from a half room or something like that. As many wonders why don’t just make 10000 rooms. Well, it because that the emperor’s believed that there were 10000 rooms in the palace were the gods lived. So if they build 10000 rooms it would make the gods angry. So to not make the gods angry, they built 9999.5 rooms. The entire place is pretty fun and filled with history. So if you are interested in the history of China and it’s last emperors, you should totally come here.
