Trip to Belgrade 🇷🇸

It was a trip to Belgrade, Serbia 🇷🇸 We visited a few places such as Kalemegdan Fortress & Park. We walked around the ancient fortress, visited the Military Museum, and enjoyed panoramic views of the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. 📍 Kalemegdan, Belgrade We also walked around Knez Mihailova Street. Strolled through the pedestrian zone, shoped at local boutiques, and enjoyed street performances which was very fun and interesting. 📍Knez Mihailova Street, Belgrade We also visited Moritz Eis for some snacks. We tried out the Artisan gelato, with flavors such as rakija (Serbian brandy) and lavender. All the flavors were very unique and worth to try. 💰€2–4 per scoop 📍 Kralja Petra 12, Belgrade We also went to Republic Square. We visited the National Museum and National Theatre. 📍Trg republike, Belgrade If you are there and looking for a good place for lunch, I would recommend you to try Manufaktur. We ordered Serbian charcuterie, ajvar (pepper relish), and craft rakija which was very tasty 💯 💰 €15–25 per person 📍Kralja Petra 13-15, Belgrade We also visited St. Sava Temple. It is one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. We admired its frescoes, and learned about its history. 📍Krušedolska 2a, Belgrade We then strolled around Skadarlija District. Exploring Belgrade's bohemian quarter with cobblestone streets, art galleries, and vintage shops. 📍Skadarska Street, Belgrade As a museum lover, we also visited Nikola Tesla Museum. We learnt about the life and inventions of Nikola Tesla, see his original documents, and experienced interactive exhibits. It was very fun and definitely worth visiting 🙌 📍Krunska 51, Belgrade 💰€5 Besides, we also visited Ada Ciganlija. We enjoyed a day at Belgrade’s recreational oasis with swimming, kayaking and cycling around. This is my most favorite place in Belgrade 😍 If you were to visit there, I would recommend you to visit Splav Play. They served fresh seafood and cocktails🍹 💰€20–30 per person 📍 Ada Ciganlija, Belgrade Last but not least, we also walked around the Zemun District. We walked along the Danube river, visited Gardos Tower, and experienced the local fish market, where we get to experience the local culture. 📍Zemun, Belgrade #europetrip #vacation #trip
