Ziwei Cave

Ziwei Cave is located on Ziwei Mountain to the west of Chaohu City, Anhui Province. It is a karst cave formed by the uplift of an underground river during crustal movement. The characteristic of Ziwei Cave lies in its corridor-like structure and the clear strata formed by the impact of the underground river. In addition, there are natural landscapes such as stalactites in the cave, but not many. The name of Ziwei Cave comes from the Ziwei star in the sky, and has nothing to do with the Ziwei flower. At the entrance of Ziwei Cave scenic area, there is a pair of couplets: 'Purple Qi is full of beauty for ten miles, and the breeze is rippling all over the world with elegance', and the horizontal batch is 'Ziwei Cave Heaven'. In Ziwei Cave, there are also some unique natural landscapes, such as the 'Four Absolutes': Sky Gutter, Sky Board, Sky Canal, Jade Snail Account, Stone Goose Tube and Flying Waterfall from the Sky. These landscapes are closely related to the formation of the karst cave and the erosion of the underground river.
