During the Liberation War, the general led his troops from the northeast to the south, landed in Hainan, and "swept away thousands of troops like a mat." Later, as the second commander and political commissar of the Volunteer Army, he led our army to fight MacArthur. Taiwan called him one of the three tiger generals of the Fourth Field Army, and foreign military strategists praised him as one of the "Four Heroes of the Korean War." He made great achievements in battle and will be remembered forever.         The Former Residence of Deng Hua is located in Beifu Village, Lutang Town, Beihu District (formerly Chenzhou County), Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty, when the Deng family was a wealthy family. The former residence is a brick-wood structure with green bricks and tiles, carved beams, and painted buildings, which is a typical style of southern Hunan folk houses. In front of the former residence, there is a square, and the bronze bust of General Deng Hua stands solemnly, looking forward with dignity. Now, it not only attracts people from all walks of life to visit, but also is a good place for organizations to carry out Party building activities and red education.
