Li Ti Miao Shrine

Li Ti Miao Shrine is located in the Yaowarat area on Plabplachai Road, Pom Prap Subdistrict, Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, about 100 meters from the Plabplachai Police Station. It was built by the Hakka Chinese and is a Taoist shrine. The shrine is notable for its Qing Dynasty Chinese architecture. After a fire caused damage, the Chinese Association in Thailand restored and renovated it. The architecture now blends elements of Chinese shrines and palaces. Most people come here to pray for love, to find a partner, or for their existing relationships to be successful. Additionally, the shrine is well-known for health-related blessings. Visitors can shake a bamboo cylinder to receive a health and medicine fortune. The number drawn can be taken to the medicine dispensing room, where a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner will provide herbal remedies. Donations for the medicine are accepted based on faith. This shrine is also a place where people can perform rituals to ward off bad luck.
