It is the terraced fields of my hometown, the Jiabang Rice Terraces in Congjiang County, Guizhou. The Miao people who have lived here for generations irrigate in spring, enjoy lush greenery in summer, and harvest in autumn. They work from sunrise to sunset, a timeless routine that has lasted for thousands of years.
