Amazing Historical Structures

#chinatripGetting There - from Taiyuan. Catch a public long distance bus at Jian Nan Bus Station. Journey takes around three hours to arrive at DaiXian county. The kind bus driver and staff at the bus station helped us with the accommodation and return trip and morning pick up from hotel. All went well as arrangements were made for bus transportation back to Taiyuan the same evening. Attractions -1. YanMenGuan : A beautiful place to explore and to experience the feeling of historical events which had happened more than a thousand years ago. The scenery in the surroundings as we hiked up the steep steps is amazing. We spent almost four hours soaking in the lovely environment. We're fortunate that the weather was sunny and cooling during our visit on 17th November 2024. 2. DaiXian Ancient City is a simple, clean and organised shopping and eating area. Hotels - Book hotels which are near to the ancient city if you are travelling by public transport like us. Food & Restaurants - Lots of eateries and restaurants in DaiXian ancient city. YanMenGuan also has many shops that serve hot and delicious food at reasonable prices. We also bought the local freshly fried almonds and other local products.
