Yuji Island

Yuji Island is located in Shuanglang Ancient Town, Dali, and is a peninsula connected by Yuji Bridge. There are many places on the island where you can see Erhai Lake and the ancient town on the opposite side of Erhai Lake. The island has many cultural and natural landscapes, including Yuji Nunnery, where Yang Guixian practiced, Yang Liping's Sun Palace, and Jinlong Cave with karst landforms. Yuji Island is the filming location of movies such as "The Children of Five Golden Flowers" and "The Moon of Erhai Lake." It is known as the first village of Cang'er scenery.
