Geirangerdalsnib Mountain, Norway

The scenic Dalsnibár is a mountain in the village of Geiranger, Stranda, in the Norwegian county of Mølømsdal. From the top of the mountain at an altitude of 1,476 meters, you can have a panoramic view of the Geirangerfjord, a world natural heritage site below the mountain. Because it is located in the fjord and at a high altitude, it is often covered with snow even in midsummer and the temperature usually does not exceed 10 degrees. Norwegian Route 63 passes through the south side of the mountain. Outside the road is Lake Jupvanet. There is a hotel on the west bank of the lake. Opposite the hotel is a private toll road leading to the top of Dalsnibal Mountain. The total distance from the toll station to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 1,476 meters is 4.5 kilometers.
