A little-known resort

Hachijojima! Speaking of beautiful places close to the sea from Tokyo, Hachijojima is the place to go! It takes just under an hour by plane from Haneda. You can also get there by boat from Shibaura Pier in about half a day. This time, I went by plane. I thought it was closer and more convenient than Okinawa. Hachijojima's charm is its natural surroundings, including the sea, mountains, and waterfalls. Apparently, the island was originally formed by an undersea eruption. The clarity and color of the sea were outstandingly beautiful. I recommend snorkeling and diving, too.
