Jingci Temple in Hangzhou, Zhejiang - It's a fate to meet when the flowers are in bloom

Jingci Temple, located on the south bank of West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, opposite Leifeng Tower, is one of the four ancient temples in the history of West Lake and one of the famous temples in China. Because the bell in the temple is loud, the 'Evening Bell at Nanping' has become one of the 'Ten Scenes of West Lake'. The temple is located under Huirifeng of Nanping Mountain in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. It was built in 954 AD by Qian Hongchu of Wuyue State for the Zen master Yongming, originally named Yongming Zen Temple; it was renamed Jingci Temple during the Southern Song Dynasty and built the Hall of Five Hundred Arhats. Jingci Temple, repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, the temple, mountain gate, bell tower, rear hall, ancient well of Yunmu and Jigong Hall, were all rebuilt in the 1980s. The main hall is a single-layered double-eave structure with yellow glazed tile ridges, which is more solemn and grand. Especially a newly cast bronze bell weighing more than 100 kilograms, cast with the 'Lotus Sutra' written by Zhao Puchu and others, totaling 68,000 words. Every dusk, the melodious bell rings in the vast twilight of West Lake, arousing people's infinite thoughts.
