Conquered the modest Mount Heng

Caught up with this year's Five Sacred Mountains event and climbed Mount Heng 🧗‍♀️. Took the opportunity to burn some incense for academic success. Strategy: Booked a homestay halfway up the mountain 🏨, took the high-speed train 🚄 to Hengshan West, and then took a bus or taxi to Shengli Fang (the walking trailhead), where the homestay owner will pick you up. The advantage of staying at a mountainside homestay is avoiding the queues. As everyone knows, during the peak tourist season, the ticket lines are incredibly long. Plus, the temperature is pleasant halfway up the mountain, and the nights are super cool 🎑. Since I wanted to see the sunrise 🌅, I also recommend staying halfway up the mountain. It took me over two hours to climb from the homestay to the summit. Along the way, more and more people will join, so there's no need to be afraid. But here's a little tip Be sure to bring a windbreaker for night climbing. Although you won't feel cold while climbing, once you reach the summit, you'll feel the chill of winter ❄️. So be sure to bring a thicker jacket. Mount Heng, being the last of the Five Sacred Mountains to check off, is free of charge! The homestay owner is very nice, the environment is great, and the food is delicious 😋 Highly recommended!
