The artist is known for his unorthodox approach to materials in his public art, sculpture and architectural installations. In 2021, Paul Cocksedge Studio collaborated with Sino Group to display a new public art installation called 'Time Loop' at the entrance of Yumin Square in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. The installation, called 'Time Loop', is an infinite loop of wooden structure, its winding form echoing the ever-changing pace of life in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. The art installation provides a place for locals to gather, play, rest or contemplate their surroundings. The time loop is made up of eight wooden rings, each 3.82 meters high, interconnected to form a continuous track, intended to reflect the 'sense of movement and change'. The spiral structure is engraved with an 'infinite poem' written in two languages, also reflecting the passage of time. 'When people sit on the 'Time Loop', they become part of the city's movement and its transformation,' the artist said. 'It reflects a place that has been through many years but is still constantly changing and developing, which is the symbolic meaning of this form.'
