Shared Treasures: The First Donated Collection of the Hong Kong Palace Museum

"Shared Treasures: The First Donated Collection of the Hong Kong Palace Museum" is on display from March 15, 2024 to March 31, 2025 in Gallery 6 on the 3rd floor of the Hong Kong Palace Museum. The exhibition is divided into five sections according to the type of exhibits: "Dazzling Treasures: Metal", "Paintings and Calligraphy", "Elegant and Graceful: Furniture", "Buddhist Art", and "Simple and Elegant: Ceramics". From painted pottery of the Neolithic period, to gold ornaments and bronzes symbolizing eternity, exquisite Ming and Qing porcelain, elegant and delicate classical furniture, colorful enamelware, and modern and contemporary clocks and paintings, this special exhibition showcases precious collections generously donated by many Hong Kong collectors and artists before and after the museum opened in 2022.
