Day 1: Shanghai to Jinyun and Shaoxing.

Day 1: Free travel from Shanghai to Jinyun and Shaoxing. Take the G7349 high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station at 9:09 am and arrive at Jinyun West at 11:30 am. Take a Didi to Xinggui Homestay and have lunch there. After lunch, take the scenic area bus (called Jinggongjiao) to various attractions. The Jinggongjiao costs CNY 20 for two days and can take you to any attraction. In the afternoon, visit Xiaochibi, Dadu Rock, Xiandu Temple, Niweng Cave, Dufeng Academy, and Zhutan Mountain. Xiaochibi: One side faces the stream and the other side is a steep cliff with red and white colors, like it has been burned by fire. It looks like the Chibi of the Yangtze River, hence the name "Xiaochibi." Dadu Rock: A semicircular boulder leaning against the mountain, with a circumference of nearly 100 meters and a height of 55 meters. From a distance, it looks like a strange human figure with a small head, short legs, and a big belly, hence the name "Dadu Rock." The upper part has traces of rainwater flowing down for hundreds of millions of years, showing a brown-black color, like the hem of a raincoat worn by Jiangnan farmers in the rain, so it is also called "Yusuo Rock." Xiandu Temple: Built in the Tang Dynasty, it has a history of thousands of years. The buildings in the temple are simple and solemn, and the environment is quiet, making it a good place for meditation and enlightenment. Niweng Cave: Composed of three caves, large and small, with a stream meandering in front of the cave. It is said that in ancient times, a man named Ji Ni lived in seclusion here, hence the name Niweng Cave. The stone at the entrance of the cave is also engraved with the three characters "Niweng Cave" written by Li Yangbing, a calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty. Dufeng Academy: A memorial site for the lectures of Zhu Xi, a Neo-Confucian scholar of the Song Dynasty. It is said that Zhu Xi once lectured here and spread his Neo-Confucian ideas. After Zhu Xi left, his students built a reading hall at Xiandu Rock in his memory. Later, Qian Shuoyou, a scholar of the Ministry of Revenue in Jinyun, allocated funds to expand it and officially named it Dufeng Academy. Zhutan Mountain: There are attractions such as Xiandi, Huiweng Pavilion, Jiulongbi, and Chaoran Pavilion. Xiandi is a long embankment between two bridges after entering the scenic area, with willows swaying on both sides. The long embankment paved with pebbles is both romantic and sentimental. Huiweng Pavilion is a half-pavilion built artificially in a cave. It is said that Zhu Xi, a great Neo-Confucian scholar of the Song Dynasty, once rested here, so the attractions here are named after Zhu Xi's surname and title. Chaoran Pavilion is a four-cornered single-eave pavilion with a pointed roof by the stream. Standing here, you can see the sunrise of Ma'anshan in the distance, the Tianshi Cave in the north, and the majestic Dinghu Peak in the south.
