Chengdu–Jiuzhaigou Day Trip||1. Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area tickets must be purchased one day in advance. We recommend purchasing round-trip train tickets in advance. 2. Outbound: Chengdu East–Huanglong Jiuzhai Station 06:14–07:53 (temporary standby ticket). 3. Exit Huanglong Jiuzhai Station and find the direct bus to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Follow the signs after exiting the station. Tickets can be purchased on the bus. The journey takes about 2 hours. 4. After getting off the direct bus, follow the signs to walk a short distance to the scenic area. 5. Enter the scenic area with your ID card and take the sightseeing bus. The route is randomly assigned. 6. The scenic area is Y-shaped with 3 routes. You can change routes at the central station. The left and right routes usually return from the end. Some attractions have parking spots, so you can combine walking and taking the sightseeing bus. 7. I first took the right route. Our destination was Arrow Bamboo Lake. We started heading back at around 10:30 and walked to Pearl Shoal. We saw everything except Mirror Lake. We took the bus back to the central station at around 13:20. 8. There are food and drinks at the central station. Go to the second floor and exit through the door next to Cha Bai Dao. There are many places to eat inside. 9. At around 14:00, we took the left route to see two attractions: Long Lake and Five-Color Pond. We returned to the central station at around 15:00. We didn't explore in detail, and it took about 1 hour. 10. The first attraction on the main route is Nuorilang Waterfall (a filming location for Journey to the West, see image 2). We didn't see Rhinoceros Lake. We took the bus directly to Tiger Lake and walked to Shuzheng Lakes. We took the main road instead of the small road. Then we took the bus to Bonsai Lake and walked back a few minutes to see Reed Lake. We didn't see Sparkling Lake or Double Dragon Lake. After seeing Reed Lake, we returned to Bonsai Lake and took the bus to the scenic area entrance. We took a quick look at the main route, which took about 1 hour. 11. After exiting the scenic area, I turned right and walked straight (it's a bit far) to the Goukou Bus Station. I took the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area–Songpan Station bus. It departed from Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area at 17:30 and arrived at Songpan Station in about 2 hours. 12. Return: Songpan Station–Chengdu East 21:20–22:55 (temporary standby ticket).
