Kept an eye on the weather for a long time. It was supposed to be cloudy with snow showers, and I was ready to be stuck on the road. But it wasn't that cold when I got there. It was cloudy at first, but still beautiful. After a while, the sun came out and it was stunning. The lakes were glowing, and the Five-Color Pond looked like a sapphire. I'll definitely go again. It was worth it. Tips❗ 1. In winter, you should go a day early to get used to the low-pressure environment. You might get tinnitus or carsick. 2. I had Tibetan food at the Himalayan Music Restaurant. The Tibetan rice was delicious 😋, and the beef was huge. The highland barley yogurt was good. 3. Bring lots of warmers. The hotel is cold. You can wear warmers in the valley and dress nicely for photos. 📸
