I was lured to a small city in Henan by "Carnival" - it's so fun to explore!

This winter, I was lured to Kaifeng, Henan by Jay Chou's "Carnival" and started a wonderful journey. "Amber sunset like sugar in a beautiful distance" - the romance in this lyric is infinitely magnified under the winter sunset in Kaifeng. Strolling in Longting Park, the warm sun shines on the ancient buildings, coating them with a charming golden color, as if I walked into the beautiful scene depicted in the song. When I got tired of walking, I went to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden to experience an immersive Song Dynasty style. NPCs in ancient costumes shuttled among the crowd, and street performances and folk arts were staged one after another, making the place very lively. As night fell and the lights came on, the whole park was magnificent, as if I had traveled back to Tokyo Bianliang a thousand years ago. Kaifeng's food is also a must-try. Soup dumplings and carp noodles are full of central China flavor. At night, I went to Xisi Night Market for a bowl of steaming almond tea, which was sweet and warm, dispelling the cold of winter.
