China's most beautiful water highway

The ancient Zhao Road in Xingshan County, Hubei Province, the hometown of Zhaojun, is 10.9 kilometers long and 12 meters wide, and is known as China's most beautiful water highway. This water eco-friendly highway was built to avoid mountain destruction and deforestation, and to protect the ecological environment, with 4 kilometers constructed in the valley streams. Looking from the observation deck, towering mountains and ever-flowing clear waters can be seen, with the road winding like a dragon over the Xiangxi River. Its spectacular shape and graceful curves add a strong impetus to the tourism industry of Zhaojun's hometown.
