Giant Rain Tree

Visiting Kanchanaburi wouldn't be complete without seeing the 'Giant Rain Tree'. Marvel at the grandeur of the Giant Rain Tree, one of Kanchanaburi's key landmarks. This ancient tree is over 100 years old. The first thing you'll notice is the refreshing atmosphere, with a gentle breeze caressing your face, bringing a sense of happiness. It's easy to understand why so many people come here to take photos and enjoy the scenery. Traveling for over an hour to see and photograph the Giant Rain Tree is definitely worth it. For us, just visiting, seeing, and taking photos of this ancient tree is more than satisfying. The Giant Rain Tree is located in Dan Makham Tia District, Ban Kasikam, Ko Samrong Subdistrict. If you're coming from Wat Tham Mangkon, you can enter through the Animal and Agriculture Division 1 (Mixed Animal Division) of the Royal Thai Army, passing Wat Tham Muninat. There is no entrance fee.
