I love the concept of this place. They combine Isan cuisine with local ingredients and prepare them in a Japanese izakaya style. The restaurant is a small air-conditioned tent with a grill outside and a Japanese-style bar inside. It's quite small, with only about 5-6 seats. The food takes a while to come out, but it's worth the wait. Lin sees this place as a semi-artistic restaurant. People should go to enjoy the atmosphere and creativity. Spending time with the menu is like anticipating how the dishes will taste, especially for first-timers. It's not a place to go when you're extremely hungry, but rather to relax, chat, and sip on drinks while waiting. Each dish finds a perfect blend between Isan and Japanese cuisine. If Japan has Tako Wasabi, here they have Snail in Fermented Fish Sauce. If Japan has Wagyu Skewers, here they have Grilled Cow's Udder. If Japan has Kurobuta, here they have Pork Tendon. The cooking method matches each ingredient perfectly, with no overcooking or undercooking. My favorite is the dessert: Fermented Rice with Yogurt and Honey. It's delicious!
