Visit the Khon Kaen City Pillar Shrine

Previously, I introduced the nine-story pagoda in Khon Kaen, located in northeastern Thailand. In fact, Khon Kaen has many unique attractions. Today, I will introduce the Khon Kaen City Pillar Shrine (chao por lak muang khon kaen shrine), located in the city center. It is situated next to the Khon Kaen train station and near the largest shopping mall in the city, Central Plaza. At the center of the shrine, there is a stone pillar, which is the foundation stone pillar erected during the establishment of the ancient city. Surrounding the shrine are incense burners representing different wishes, which are said to be very effective. It is believed that visiting and making a wish once a day can make your wishes come true immediately. It is definitely worth a visit!
