Kochi … surprisingly good 😊

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck Let's go to Kochi, India 😊 The reason for choosing to visit this city is simple: cheap tickets and India waives visa fees for Thais until December 31, 2024. Kochi (or Cochin) is a city that I think is quite different from other Indian cities that you see in the media. Most of the tourist attractions focus on nature. The city center is not very crowded. The sidewalks are walkable and relatively clean (clean in an Indian way 😆). Anyone who is worried about beggars like in big cities like Mumbai and Delhi, Kochi doesn't have them. There are some, but they are very few and most of them are old people. If we don't give them to them, they won't bother us. Traveling around the city may not be very convenient. I recommend calling a car using the Uber or Ole app. They are easy to use and you don't have to worry about being cheated by taxis. There is a train, but there is only one line that runs only in the downtown area. As for the area I would recommend in Kochi, Fort Kochi is the one that I stay in. There are many types of accommodation to choose from, from Hostels, Guesthouses, to Boutique hotels. As for branded hotels like Holiday Inn, Marriott, etc., they are located in the downtown area. As for food, I dare say that I stayed for 5 days and there was no meal that was not delicious or inedible. Every meal was delicious. For those who are not good at Indian food, there are other food options. But if I have to recommend, it would be Tibetan food. For me, it was delicious and tasty. The food is Chinese but not completely Chinese. I recommend that anyone who wants to choose a restaurant should search on Google and read reviews. It helps a lot. As for street food, I really won't risk it. 555 There are 2 more highlights that you shouldn't miss: 1. Take the Water Metro. It's like using the electric train system on a boat. This city claims to be the first to do it. Take the opportunity to ride the boat and enjoy the view. 2. Kathakali is a local performance. To put it simply, it is a mime that uses facial expressions to express emotions.
