Lingxiao Tower

Lingxiao Tower is an ancient tower with a long history, originally located at the foot of Yufeng Mountain (formerly known as Ma'an Mountain) in Kunshan City. Lingxiao Tower was first built in the Northern Song Dynasty and was originally located in Huazang Temple, a sub-temple of Huiju Temple, located at the top of Wenbi Peak of Yufeng Mountain. Lingxiao Tower was struck by lightning and damaged by war many times in history, and was finally completely demolished in 1958 to make room for the construction of a radar station. It was rebuilt in 2005 on Yangshu Road in Kunshan Development Zone (south bank of Taicang Pond, west side of Dongting Lake Road).
