Fushimi Shrine Long Temple Hike‼️🎌

#mountainhike Is this the most photographed hike in all of Japan? Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto is super famous and one of the coolest places to visit in Japan. What makes it so special are the thousands of bright orange torii gates that line the paths up the mountain. It’s like walking through a tunnel of color! Each gate is donated and has names on it, which is pretty interesting. The shrine is dedicated to Inari, the god of rice, and you’ll see lots of fox statues around since they’re thought to be his messengers. Hiking to the top takes about two hours, and the views are totally worth it! There are smaller shrines and spots to chill along the way, making it a fun adventure. If you’re into photography and want to do a spiritual hike, Fushimi Inari is a must-visit when you're in Kyoto! Remember to come early to beat the crowds trying to ascend to the top!
