Gateway Lahaul & Spiti - Keylong

Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul & Spiti district Keylong town comes in the middle of Manali-Leh highway and it’s well known for the bikers. Town is well connected with major cities like Manali, Chandigarh, Shimla, Dharamshala, Haridwar and Delhi with HRTC buses including Ordinary, Deluxe and Luxurious Volvo/Scania. Town is accessible throughout the year through Atal Tunnel and have plenty of hotels to stay in town and also nearby villages. One should experience the winter but it’s very beautiful and dangerous as well too. Water gets blocked in winter due to very high snowfall, freezing temperature. By May the road opens to public towards Leh and one should experience the HRTC’s Delhi-Leh bus service who cannot afford for bike/4 wheeler road trip, where bus stops at all major tourist attractions.#kelong #keylong
