Daji Mountain Forest Park

Daji Mountain Forest Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, known since ancient times as 'the premier beauty of the county' and the birthplace of Taoism. The forest within the mountain is lush, and the air quality is exceptionally good, earning it the reputation of a 'natural oxygen bar'. There are 24 carved stones of various sizes in the scenic area, with the most famous being the carvings of Zheng Daozhao and Qiu Chuji. Daji Mountain is listed as 'China's fifth famous mountain' in the 'Records of the Grand Historian'. The historian Sima Qian mentioned in the 'Records of the Grand Historian': 'There are eight famous mountains in the world, three of which are in the barbarian lands, and five in China. The five mountains in China are Mount Hua, Shoushan, Taishi, Mount Tai, and Donglai, which are the mountains where the Yellow Emperor often traveled and met with the gods. Donglai Mountain is now known as Daji Mountain. According to records, from the pre-Qin period to the end of the Qing dynasty, generations of Taoist masters such as Wang Chongyang, Qiu Chuji, Liu Changsheng, An Qisheng, Cheng Gongxing, Kou Qianzhi, and Wang Daoyi, all chanted scriptures, studied, and practiced asceticism here. Attractions to visit: Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Taiqing Palace, Medicine King Hall, Beiji Pavilion, Daji Pagoda, Baiyun An, Swan Lake, Monkey Mountain, and the Animal Show. The scenic area is home to many small animals that roam freely, allowing visitors to feed them while climbing the mountain. There are also characteristic performances and folk activities to enjoy. The mountain is not high, making it suitable for children to visit.
