Lake Como, Italy, let's go alone~~ 🇮🇹🍂 Traveling alone, our style;) Talking about romance, the magic of love amidst the lake, mountains and colorful buildings alternating old and new, where else can you go but Lake Como, Italy? The city of Como is another destination that many families and couples dream of. The atmosphere with sunlight shining in the morning along with the cool breeze, who wouldn't want to come? Lake Como is a lake located in the Lombardy region, northern Italy. It is about 50 kilometers long and the deepest in Europe. It is shaped like an inverted Y, surrounded by beautiful mountains and hills. There are charming villages and small towns such as Como, Bellagio, Menaggio and Verenna. This lake has luxurious villas and is a vacation spot for celebrities. There are water activities such as boating, swimming, hiking and cycling on very beautiful routes. Traveling from Milan to Como takes about 1 hour. You can travel by Flexbus or train. We chose to travel by bus at a cost of almost 400 baht per leg. Walking around Como 📍Things to see and do🗺️ 1. Como Cathedral (Duomo di Como): A beautiful and historic Gothic cathedral 2. Piazza Cavour: The city's main square located on the lakeside, with many shops and cafes 3. Broletto: An old building that used to be the city's town hall, now used as an exhibition venue 4. Funicolare Como-Brunate: A cable car that takes you up to Brunate for a bird's-eye view of the lake and mountains 5. Villa Olmo: A neoclassical villa open to the public There is a beautiful garden and a view of the lake. 6. Basilica di Sant'Abbondio: A Romanesque church with interesting architecture and frescoes. 7. Passeggiata Lino Gelpi: A walking path along the lake where you can walk and enjoy the view and relax at various points. We arrived in Como early in the morning and saw the sunrise that illuminated the city in the morning. We spent about 3 hours in the city and then we took a boat to Menaggio. We had booked accommodation there. There are both buses and boats to get there. Bus and boat prices from Como to Menaggio I personally prefer to travel by boat because you can see the beauty of the lake and stop at every stop, but it may take longer than usual. Bus 🚌 Bus C10 or C30 Price: around 5-10 euros per trip Travel time: around 1 hour to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic and schedule Boat 🛥️ Ferry service by Navigazione Laghi: Price: around 10-15 euros per trip Travel time: around 1 hour to 1.5 hours, depending on the type of boat (regular boat or speedboat) 🚏 Must-sees in Menaggio 1. Lungolago di Menaggio: Take a walk along the lake with a beautiful view of Lake Como 2. Piazza Garibaldi: The main square of the town with many shops, restaurants and cafes 3.
