In Lishui, Zhejiang, there is a super niche but super interesting small city—Longquan😍. This is the millennium capital of treasured swords, oh, the Longquan sword in 'The Legend of Sword and Fairy' originated from here🎯; it is also the birthplace of the Ge Kiln, one of the five famous kilns of the Song Dynasty, and that thousand-year history of celadon is simply the 'Jingdezhen of Jiangsu and Zhejiang'👏! I stayed in Longquan for just 2 days, but it felt like I stepped into a romantic world of swords and porcelain🗡, the lasting impact was simply too great😱! 🚄How to get to Longquan? Longquan City is right in Lishui, Zhejiang, and the high-speed train can directly reach 'Longquan City Station', and driving there is also no problem at all🚗. 🚶How to visit Longquan? When you come to Longquan, you must see the treasured swords and celadon, the ancient villages and scenic landscapes here are no less than other places in Jiangsu and Zhejiang! Take advantage of its obscurity and start strolling around slowly😎: 1⃣ Yuandi Village This is absolutely my favorite place in Longquan🤩, the village has a century-old granary that is super characteristic, with red walls and round domes, and you can enjoy the 'Big Fish & Begonia' of Zhejiang without a ticket🐟. 2⃣ Longquan Sword Factory The Longquan treasured sword, with a history of more than two thousand years, is famous for its exquisite forging skills. If you want to see what the Longquan sword looks like today, go to this free factory area to watch the craftsmen forge swords🔥. The Longquan swords in 'Sword Stained with Royal Blood', 'Word of Honor', and 'The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber' all come from here. 3⃣ Longquan Celadon Museum Longquan celadon is another loud business card of Longquan, and it is the only ceramic project included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list! I highly recommend visiting the museum to experience the glorious history of Longquan celadon, just make an appointment on site. 4⃣ Xia Zhang Ancient Village Hidden in the deep mountains, Xia Zhang Ancient Village has simple architecture, and the clouds in the mountains are simply too beautiful😍. The Baiyun Waterfall next to the village is also particularly spectacular. 5⃣ West Street It's not the West Street of Quanzhou, but the old streets of Longquan, which are less crowded and easy to stroll around🚶, with grocery stores, cafes, old iron shops... full of the local atmosphere of Longquan. 6⃣ Wang'ou·Taoxi Chuan Cultural and Creative District A literary and artistic district that looks super beautiful in any snapshot, Longquan Art Museum also has a ceramic exhibition, which is very worth visiting. 7⃣ Liucha Zhou Scenic Area Going to Liucha Zhou in the evening to see the river is really too comfortable, and taking photos at Liucha Pavilion is simply stunning📷. 🎐Here comes the 2-day 1-night itinerary for Longquan: day1 Yuandi Village→Taoxi Chuan→Liucha Zhou day2 Xia Zhang Ancient Village→Longquan Sword Museum→Longquan Celadon Museum→West Street While visiting Longquan, I couldn't help but sigh, such a distinctive place, yet so few tourists😭.
