The 'Peerless Beauty' of Caishi Ji

Caishi Ji, also known as Niuzhu Ji, is located at the foot of Cuiluo Mountain in the southwest of Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province. Together with Chengling Ji and Yanziji, it is one of the 'Three Gorges of the Yangtze River'. Caishi Ji is renowned for its precipitous terrain, beautiful scenery, and numerous historical sites, earning it the reputation of being the 'Peerless Beauty' among the three. Within Caishi Ji, there are attractions such as Cuiluo Bay, Taibai Tower, Zhexian Garden, Lin Sanzhi Art Gallery, Sanyuan Cave, Yanyuan Garden, Yuanmeng Garden, Wanzhuwo, Santaige, and the Li Bai Memorial Hall. In 2020, it was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Caishi Ji was originally named Niuzhu Ji, which is said to have been named after a legend of a golden ox emerging from the riverbank. During the Chiwu period of the Eastern Wu in the Three Kingdoms era, a monk discovered colorful gemstones while digging a well, leading to the renaming of the place to Caishi Ji. Ma'anshan  Anhui
