Do you feel a tropical vibe from Malaga too? Or it’s just me?

#celebrateit Coming from Southeast Asia, I felt a strong sense of familiarity when I first arrived at Malaga. It felt like home. As I observed and thought further, I reckoned the “culprit”could be the palm trees. There are literally palm trees everywhere, which gave off the tropical vibe that I’m used to. It’s so common back home, but at the same time so exotic and bizarre when put in the context of West Europe. Many have described Spain or Spanish culture zesty/fervent. I’m not sure whether this tropical vibe + orange hue of the Southern Spain also helped deepen the portrayal? symbol for zest.
