One-day trip to Meihekou, a small city in Northeast China

(Zhibei Village + Northeast Night City + Hailong Lake) Standard one-day tour route in Meihekou. 1. Zhibei Village: It is recommended to rest at a local homestay or hotel in Meihekou around noon. Head to Zhibei Village around 4 PM to enjoy the old-time charm at dusk, which offers a great experience! Stroll around Zhibei Village and save some room for food at the Night City. Tips: The Folk Museum is really worth a visit. When I went, the ticket was 15 yuan, and you can get up close to the exhibits inside. It's best to stay in Zhibei Village until 7 PM to see the lights turn on. The butterfly lights at night are even more beautiful! Walking the same route again under the night lights offers a different feeling. 2. Northeast Night City: Arrive at Northeast Night City by 8 PM. The distance between the two spots is not far, so you can walk there. If you don't have the energy, you can take a taxi. If you are driving, parking might be difficult there. There are thirty performances in the Night City, usually rotating to ensure that visitors can always see a show. You can check the performance schedule at the venue. Regular performances are about 20 minutes each. Tips: The most popular performances, the Tang Dynasty Night City-style Unfallen Sister and the Aerial Phoenix, start at the same time. Since the venues are far apart, you can only choose one and wait to see the other. 3. Hailong Lake: A large park, it is recommended to start from the area with Huizhou-style architecture (southwest of Hailong Lake) and walk east along the lake to the Lotus Pond. The best time is around 7 or 8 AM the next day, as the morning is cool and refreshing. After finishing, you can return to the homestay or hotel to rest and prepare to check out. The pot-wrapped meat at the Yinglan Korean Restaurant is a must-try. Their Korean cuisine is very authentic. The trip to Meihekou ends perfectly! 🔚
