Jianying Park: A place where nature, culture, and elegant animals meet

Meizhou has Jianying Park and Ye Jianying Memorial Park. Jianying Park • Overview: Located in Meizhou City, it is the largest park in Meizhou City, covering an area of 656,000 square meters. It has Jianying Lake, which is composed of three lakes, with a water area of more than 267,000 square meters. • Park landscape: There are many granite stone arch bridges at the junction of the lakes. There are also rockeries, stone carvings, waterside walkways, waterside platforms, children's playgrounds, and pavilions and pavilions with different architectural styles, such as "Yangying Pavilion" and "Gongde Pavilion". There is a Jianying Memorial Corridor with an overlapping arc-shaped antique style. On the northeast side is the "Double Support Theme Park", and on the top of the mountain is the Revolutionary History Memorial Square, which has large sculptures and a military history corridor for national defense education. • Plant landscape: The forest is planted with precious trees such as camphor, fragrant camphor, king coconut, and red rocket crape myrtle, as well as flowering trees such as phoenix tree, pink bauhinia, and yellow tabebuia, with flowers in all seasons. • Cultural features: Dozens of stone carvings of clean culture in the park are eye-catching, selected from influential clean poems and famous sayings from ancient times to the present. Ye Jianying Memorial Park • Overview: Located in Yanyang Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City, it is one of the 100 classic red tourism scenic spots in China and one of the three classic red tourism scenic spots in Guangdong. It is also a national 4A-level tourist attraction, covering an area of 482 acres. • Park landscape: It is divided into four functional areas: cultural and scenic area, memorial scenic area, tourism and leisure service area, and ecological forest area, consisting of a series of landscapes such as Marshal Ye's former residence, Ye's ancestral hall, Ye Jianying Memorial Hall, Memorial Square, and Entrance Square. • Exhibition content: The exterior of the memorial hall is geometric in structure, large in scale, and majestic. It has four exhibition halls, with five major themes: "Ambition in Youth", "Deep Feelings of Spring", "Turning the Tide", "Fragrant Calligraphy", and "Returning from a Hundred Battles", displaying pictures and texts, artworks, and a large number of manuscripts, documents, and historical materials of Marshal Ye in various periods.
