[Tsumareigosha Inari Shrine/Tokyo] A shrine enshrined in Yushima, Nakano

Tsumakoi Inari Shrine in Nakano Ward, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 This shrine is called Tsumakoi. It is said that a branch of Tsumakoi Shrine in Yushima was enshrined here before the Bunka era. The shrine was enshrined by Yajima Genzaemon, who lived in this area until the beginning of the Meiji era. It is also known as "Genza Inari." It is said to be a popular myth, but there is also a story that Yajima Genzaemon enshrined Tsumakoi Inari in memory of his deceased wife. The shrine is surrounded by stone walls, and a fence has been set up at the entrance, leaving it half open. Further ahead are two stone torii gates and two vermilion-painted torii gates. Immediately upon entering, there is a hand pump to the right and a lava shrine to the left with a fox inside. The lion statues are protected by wire mesh and are a little hard to see. The shrine building feels a little old, but the grounds seem to be well-maintained. It is close to Nakano Broadway and can be reached in a 7-minute walk from the exit.
