People from Akihabara (which is super close by) come here to pray for success in their businesses, and many tech companies and IT workers visit for blessings. The ema (wooden wishing plaques) here are unique—many are decorated with anime characters drawn by fans! The shrine itself is stunning, with bright red-orange buildings and golden details. I even bought a lucky charm for my phone, since they have ones specifically for protecting electronics! After visiting, I walked to Akihabara for some shopping and found the cutest anime merch. If you’re a fan of geek culture but also love exploring traditional Japan, Kanda Myojin is the perfect mix of both worlds!
