Nakhon Pathom Day Trip, Unveiling Hidden Gems

✨Hey guys, sharing my one-day trip to Nakhon Pathom🎈. 🎈It took about 1.5 hrs to drive from Bangkok, with THB 180 in tolls🐷. 🎈My main goal was to get a Sak Yant tattoo, so I didn't plan the route too much😜. These places are about 30 mins apart by car, and all have parking lots. 🎈First stop: Wat Bang Phra (Luang Phor Pern Temple)🎊. I went there for the Sak Yant tattoo😏, worried about long queues. It's a popular spot for locals. As a solo female traveler, it was a bit awkward😅, but I stuck to the motto, "If I'm not embarrassed, then everyone else should be"😎. If you don't care about celebrity endorsements, I highly recommend this place. The prices are reasonable, and they have all the necessary rituals😃. I'll share photos of the final result once it's healed😜. 🎈Second stop: Wat Sam Phran (The Dragon Temple)🎊. It's the legendary pink building with a dragon wrapped around it, truly spectacular🎉. Find a good angle, a drone would be even better for photos. The entrance fee to the top is THB 80🐷. You can walk or take the elevator. The walk isn't stairs, but a ramp. I walked up (≈5 min) and took the elevator down😁. 🎈Third stop: Phra Pathom Chedi🎊. The entrance fee is THB 60🐷. If you just want to take photos of the architecture and the Chedi without entering to worship, you don't need a ticket. You can walk to the base of the Chedi. The ticket is required for entering and worshipping. You can come in the evening, take photos during the day, then capture the sunset and night view😎, and then grab some food at the night market😜. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, so the sunset photos weren't ideal😔. 🎈Fourth stop: Central Nakhon Pathom🎊. It's very close to Phra Pathom Chedi, just 2.5 km. I soaked up the New Year atmosphere, did some shopping, and bought a few new clothes. Gotta have that new year, new clothes vibe😁. I discovered that parking here is free😎. 🎈After shopping, I went back to Phra Pathom Chedi, took some night photos, and strolled through the night market, where I ate a bit too much😅.
