The Nanjing Museum is the one I was most looking forward to visiting. As one of the three major museums in China, it is truly worthwhile! The History Hall is a must-see! Highly recommended! Next is the Special Exhibition Hall. The collections of the Nanjing Museum are what really set it apart from other museums. The sheer number of artifacts can take us back in time to experience the changes of the eras, and the wisdom of the ancients is also interpreted through the artifacts of daily life. Even just walking around, you will gain a lot. The Republic of China Hall has been restored to resemble the streets of the Republic era, and the shops inside are also operating behind windows. It was my first time seeing this kind of setup in a museum, and I found it very novel. I really suggest setting aside half a day to fully explore the museum. The place selling cultural and creative products is also very crowded, even on a Friday.
