Shaoguan Maozi Peak, officially known as Guangdong Maozi Peak Scenic Area, is located in the northwest of Nanxiong City, Shaoguan, Guangdong Province. It covers a total area of 2,924.6 hectares and is a low mountain and hilly area. Maozi Peak Scenic Area is famous for its rich ecological resources, primitive forest landscape, and birds and flowers all year round. In late autumn, tens of thousands of acres of ginkgo trees turn golden, and the forest is dyed in layers of color. It is known as the "Ginkgo Kingdom" and "Little Jiuzhai in Northern Guangdong". The scenic area has a mild climate, abundant rainfall, and snow in winter, showing a rare snow scene in the south.
