#traveldiaries Visiting Gdańsk Old Town was like stepping into a storybook! The architecture here is stunning, with its mix of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. Walking down Długi Targ, the main street, I felt surrounded by history. The colorful merchant houses and the iconic Neptune Fountain are must-sees. There’s no entrance fee to explore the Old Town, and it’s perfect for a leisurely stroll. I also visited the Green Gate and took a boat ride along the Motława River (around 45 PLN), offering fantastic views of the medieval crane and the waterfront. St. Mary’s Church, one of the largest brick churches in the world, is another highlight, and you can climb the tower for breathtaking views of the city (10 PLN entry). If you’re into museums, don’t miss the Artus Court or the Amber Museum. Nearby, you’ll find lovely cafés, amber shops, and small galleries. Gdańsk Old Town has an amazing mix of culture, history, and scenic beauty.
