Palermo, the gem of southern Italy

Usually people go to Italy for the north, like Milan or Genoa. However, Palermo is a city you definitely don’t want to miss! The mix between Islamic and European architecture is just beyond stunning. The food is cheap and affordable and the weather there is just fantastic. It was cool but not too cold. The coffee there was one of the best, I can feel the fresh coffee beans they used! The history there was fascinating as well! I would definitely recommend it to other people !
