During my visit, I decided to try their pork chop fried rice, a dish that came highly recommended by the staff. It arrived beautifully presented—crispy, golden pork chop slices laid neatly on top of fragrant fried rice, accompanied by a sunny-side-up egg and fresh cucumber slices. The flavors were spot on! The pork was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, while the fried rice had just the right balance of seasoning, with a slight hint of wok hei (the smoky aroma that comes from stir-frying at high heat). The runny yolk from the egg added a creamy richness when mixed with the rice, completing the dish perfectly. What I loved most about Kheng Wah was its inviting atmosphere. The restaurant had a clean and minimalist design, but it still exuded warmth with its cozy seating and friendly staff.
