From the last time I visited Wat Montop, I walked a little further from Wat Montop to Wat Kae and paid homage to Luang Pho Thuat Yiap Thale Nam Chuet, who once resided here during the Buddhist Lent. Inside Wat Kae is very shady. There are places to sit and relax. The temple is quiet and there are no people around. There are no distractions. You can sit and meditate and open your mind to meditation very easily. However, if anyone is going to travel, you should prepare some water and food because there is nothing to sell, which may make you hungry.
